Adults with Disabilities: Showering and Handwashing

Distance Learning | Our Location | Outreach

Duration: 30 Min.

Getting and staying clean doesn’t have to be a feat! Students will learn the importance of personal hygiene for social, personal, and health reasons. The educator will discuss activities associated with hygiene such as showering, shaving, and face washing as well as when to perform these activities. Students will have the opportunity to participate in an exercise to name scenarios where hand washing is appropriate.

This and all of our programs for individuals with disabilities can be customized to the needs of the students.
