Youth with Disabilities K–5: Habit-Free for Me (Prescription Meds)

Distance Learning | Our Location | Outreach

Duration: 30 Min.

This program teaches about positive choices for good health: eating healthy, exercising regularly, getting plenty of sleep, and supporting happiness. Students will discover when it is safe to use prescription medications, how to follow directions, and what can happen to their bodies if medications are misused. A refusal skills activity will allow students the opportunity to role-play refusing drugs.

This and all of our programs for individuals with disabilities can be customized to the needs of the students.
