McMillen Health is featured on Fox 55 on United Way St. Joseph County Funding

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — A Fort Wayne-based organization will make an impact in St. Joseph County.

McMillen Health received a nearly $10,000 grant from the United Way of St. Joseph County to bring preventive health education to youth in northern Indiana.

The funding will go toward 25 educational sessions highlighting nutrition, fitness, substance use prevention and pregnancy prevention.

Overall, McMillen Health says the efforts will reach 475 St. Joseph County students in pre-school through 12th grade.
