Youth with Disabilities 6–12: Healthy Eating

Distance Learning | E-Learning | Our Location | Outreach

Duration: 30 Min.

Help your students form healthy eating habits with this program. Central goals of Healthy Eating include creating balanced meals using the MyPlate model, recognizing the difference between everyday foods and “only sometimes” foods, and understanding the importance of limiting such “only sometimes” foods. A Snack Attack activity will help students understand how to choose healthy instead of unhealthy snacks.

This and all of our programs for individuals with disabilities can be customized to the needs of the students.
