The global pandemic has emphasized the importance of children learning about germs and communicable diseases in a friendly and age-appropriate environment. Students in this disease prevention program will discover what germs are and what they can do to stop their spread. A demonstration will allow students to see firsthand how germs spread. An exercise will provide participants the chance to practice proper handwashing techniques. Discussion will include a brief introduction to the COVID-19 virus and ways to minimize its spread.
