Roger the Red Robot and the Tooth Fairy visit Carrol High School for Varied Abilities Day Program

AWS Foundation has granted McMillen Health $50,000 for the organization to continue their Varied Abilities Days program to provide students with disabilities health education for the next two school years. McMillen Health offers a variety of programs for both adults and youth with disabilities.

“We are honored to continue this partnership with AWS Foundation,” says Nicole Fairchild, Executive Director of McMillen Health. “We look forward to providing preventive health education to people with disabilities for many more years to come.”

Varied Abilities Days at McMillen Health consist of programs involving clothing care, dental hygiene, healthy relationships, and more. McMillen Health hosts eight prescheduled days and invites schools, residential programs, and other disabilities services organizations to sign up for these days. Schools and organizations can also schedule their own time to receive a program when it is convenient for them. Read the full press release here.
