Meet Melissa!

Melissa Koenemann joined McMillen Health as a Health Educator in January of 2024. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and concentration in special education from Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne. Before coming to McMillen as an educator, Melissa worked as an elementary school teacher for 5th and 3rd grade. She also was a student transition coordinator where she worked with students with disabilities on employment skills and how to navigate the adult world.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading for book club and spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog. Melissa is excited to share how to keep the body safe, happy, and healthy!
