McMillen Health receives 1 million grant from Lilly Endowment

McMillen Health, one of the four independently operated health education organizations left in the nation, has received a grant of 1 million dollars from Lily Endowment Inc. to support their mission in providing preventive health education to students of any age, ability, and background.

With this support, McMillen plans to create and implement a social-emotional health curriculum to address the mental health crisis among youth. With such generosity, the nonprofit will make their preciously developed Choices Today, Options Tomorrow teen pregnancy prevention curriculum evidence based to further increase their credibility of their services, and further will hire more staff to provide preventive health education to more students.

"We are overwhelmed with the support we have received from Lilly Endowment," said Nicole Fairchild, McMillen Health's executive director, in the statement.
