Nicole Fairchild joined McMillen in March of 2016. Nicole attended Indiana State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in public administration (MPA) and non-profit management in 2010. She also earned her MBA at Indiana Tech in 2016. Nicole’s experience covers non-profit management and education. She has taught online at Indiana State University since 2010. She enjoys running, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Kathryn Schreiber joined McMillen in June of 2013. She attended Indiana Institute of Technology where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. When not in the office she keeps busy volunteering for her children’s extracurricular groups. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Shannon Gleason joined McMillen Health in September of 2016. Shannon has a decade of experience as a school administrator as well as several years as a classroom teacher. She is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University earning both a Master of Science in Education and a post graduate Principal Licensure Certificate. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree with endorsements in Social Studies, Language Arts, and Kindergarten.
Shannon is enthusiastic about using her talents to further the mission of McMillen Health through curriculum development.

Megan Wilkinson joined McMillen Health in September of 2019. Megan earned a Master of Arts in applied medical anthropology in 2018 from the University of Memphis. Her experience is in studying the cultural contexts of reproductive health, communicating with underserved populations, and the understanding of social dynamics’ effects on health and wellness. At McMillen Health, Megan has developed curricula on preconception and interconception health education for young women, oral health education for elementary and middle school students, and has other special projects in the works.
In her free time, Megan enjoys exploring all that the Fort Wayne area has to offer, including festivals, parks, and local businesses. She also enjoys traveling, reading, documentaries, and spending time with family and friends.
Christine joined McMillen Health in July 2021. She graduated from Indiana-Purdue University, Fort Wayne, in 1999, with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. She later went on to earn two bachelor’s degrees and then her Master of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2012. Christine has over twenty years of clinical dental hygiene experience including over six years of working with the underserved populations of Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio. She has also spent the last 15 years as Associate Faculty in the Dental Hygiene Program at the IU School of Dentistry, Fort Wayne–teaching both clinical and didactic courses. Christine enjoys spending her free time with her family, traveling, watching sports and documentaries, and making people laugh.
Laurel Alberson joined McMillen Health Center in July 2021. She attended Ball State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in English and Journalism with a public relations concentration. Laurel has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, with most of it spent in the higher education space. In her free time, she enjoys reading, binge-watching a show on a streaming network, and spending time with family and friends.
Scott joined McMillen Health in April of 2017. He graduated from Indiana University with a focus on Commercial Art and Design. Scott’s special talents allow McMillen Health to reach the community through video and other media streams. He has worked on projects for our Brush division, Babies Love, and various other McMillen Health assignments.
Lettie Haver joined McMillen Health in July of 2021. She earned a Master of Library Science in 2010 from Indiana University. Lettie brings McMillen Health experience in nonprofit communication and storytelling, including many years of providing grantsmanship training. She is particularly interested in how daily habits inform personal wellbeing and in supporting people in developing and acting on good intentions. Lettie enjoys time in the natural world and with her family and friends.
Rachel Croghan joined McMillen Health in August of 2021. As a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Arts with focus in Production, Editing, and Design, she has spent her career working with local companies and not-for-profits fulfilling a variety of creative roles and is excited to bring that experience to McMillen Health to create visuals aimed at promoting health education in the community and beyond.
Rachel is a proud mom of five cats and enjoys reading, sewing, and taking photographs of the local area. You may spot her out in the local community capturing festivities, as well as local flora and fauna.
Angel Winchester joined McMillen Health in August of 2021. She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus on Visual Communication and Graphic Design. Her diverse experience in the fine arts and graphic designs allows McMillen Health to reach the community through various mediums to provide effective preventive health education.
In her spare time, Angel enjoys baking, thrift shopping, and spending time with her cat. She also enjoys attending live performances, farmers markets, museums, and vintage car shows. Angel is excited to use her love of design to promote health and education here at McMillen.
Alysia Marshall-Seslar joined the McMillen Health team in April of 2021. She attended Ball State University, graduating in 2019 with a BS in Early Childhood Education and a minor in special education. Alysia has nearly ten years of experience working in early childhood education programs, including Early Head Start. Her experience includes classroom teaching, education management, disabilities coordination, and infant/toddler mental health. Alysia is beginning her master’s degree in educational psychology in the fall of 2021.
Outside of work, Alysia enjoys cooking, listening to live music, and exploring hiking trails around the Midwest.
Elaine Wagner joined McMillen Health in June of 2018 as a Health Educator. She graduated from Purdue North Central receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in science. She later earned a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Earth Science from Purdue University. She has many years of teaching experience in the elementary classroom.
When she isn’t in the classroom, she spends time cooking and baking in the kitchen or working in the garden. She also enjoys traveling with her family.
Jana Clark joined McMillen in November of 2017. Jana attended Indiana Wesleyan University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Service. In the past, she has worked with a local childhood literacy program and taught preschool in the Fort Wayne area for five years.
In her spare time, Jana enjoys hiking, biking, or simply walking the many different trails available in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas with her husband and their five children. Jana is excited to share the importance of good health and nutrition with people of all ages through the many different programs available at McMillen!
Kim Klotz joined McMillen Health in June of 2019. Kim graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Elementary Education. She has experience teaching kindergarten, preschool, and working with children of all ages at a local autism center.
Kim enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends, teaching herself how to crochet, and doing yoga. She is excited to share her enthusiasm for good health and nutrition with students!
Casey Knuth joined McMillen Health in August of 2017 as a Health Educator. She graduated from IPFW with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in mathematics. Additionally, Casey has her associates degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and considers herself an excellent cook! She has also worked as an Educator at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo.
Her special skills include creating fantastic gingerbread displays for the Festival of Gingerbread, playing the ukulele, loving on her three fur-babies, and crocheting. Casey is looking forward to educating students on how to live their most successful and healthy life!
Joy Livengood joined McMillen Health in August of 2016 as a Health Educator. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Social Studies. She has served as an elementary school teacher in the Fort Wayne area and tutored individual students in mathematics and writing.
In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and friends, and teaching Zumba fitness classes. She is excited to share her passion for health and learning with students.
Alli Barcus joined McMillen Health in February of 2021 as a Health Educator. She graduated from Taylor University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. As a student of Taylor University, she served in Belize promoting health and wellness to a wide range of students and age populations. After graduating she became a Wellness Screener at Parkview Hospital. After a year of working in wellness she realized her love of presenting and sharing about health.
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her fiancé, large family, and two nieces. She also enjoys running. Alli is excited to serve the community and continue promoting health and wellness!
Camy joined the McMillen staff in August of 1996. She graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in
Community Health Education and went on to become a Certified Health Education Specialist. Camy really enjoys staying active by playing tennis, softball, aerobics, and
spending time with her husband and two children. Her favorite classes to teach are Health Adventure and Life Begins.

Ian joined McMillen Health in February of 2021 as a Health Educator. He graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion and has gone through the process to be a Certified Health Education Specialist.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, learning to cook new recipes (with mixed success), and reading a good book. Ian is very excited to be able to help teach students about how to stay healthy and happy!
Tiffany joined McMillen Health in October of 2019. After having earned her B.S. from Purdue University, she spent 7 years working for the I.U. School of Medicine as a laboratory technician. Through public and private school systems, a local autism center, and the Fort Wayne community, Tiffany has spent nearly 15 years working with special needs children and children and adults with autism. In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys being a soccer and color guard mom, hiking with her kids and dogs.
Twila Smith joined McMillen Health in April of 2013 as an Administrative Assistant after greater than 13 years as a Para-professional with a local school system. In the school environment, Twila worked extensively with special needs, preschool students, helping to guide, develop and nurture children with a variety of challenges. Previously, Twila was the owner-operator of a child day care program, and has further career experience in the fields of insurance, banking and healthcare.
A mother of two daughters, Twila spends her evenings and weekends with her husband working in the garden, kayaking and camping whenever possible. She has recently learned to crochet and has a passion for reading!
